When I was planning this build, I gave myself several options.

1) Budget/Homebuilt (i.e. flat black hot rod style) street car
2) Clean show/street car
3) No expense spared BEAST.

It will be somewhere between 2 and 3. Owning a shop helps obviously, but parts are still parts. I am planning to have her completed late fall- just in time for 65 degree days!

***Picked up my T56 today, looks good! Going to mate it up to the block this weekend and snap some photos. Will also start measuring the tunnel to see what I need to clearance on the floor pans I have to install...should be a bitch haha.

It would be hard for me to offer an opinion on how far to go with your project. For me it has always been about inspiration. My project will be an original looking muscle car with nice wheels and hot motor. Just like back in the day.
