Default beginning the projects.

so im finally starting to begin my builds. im doing my 408 iron block for my camaro. and in the same time me and my wife found a good build for her.
so lizz wants a trans am but she wants the v6 front end. so we figured well get her a cheap v6 shell and when the ls1 comes out of my car to be replaced by the lq9 well build her the ls1 and swap it in the firebird. so ive been debating her build for her car and we think were either gona do a forged h/c/i 346 or a 383. im stoked about starting everything. ill post pics and keep everyone posted. does anyoe know where i can get a cheap 98 - 02 firebird body ttop in descent condition. just keep me posted or let me know

When you swap out the V6 for the V8 your going to need the entire LS1 harness. It may be cheaper to buy a real WS6 and take thw hood and bumper and sell them for a V6 front end so you have a good platform to build from. Just my 2 cents. Then you have your left over Ls1 that you are not in a rush to build and you can do it right. Plus it would be easy to build on a stand instead of in the car.

Why not find a 98-02 Formula and sell your LS1 out of your car and call it a day? Much easier to do
