Default Anyone know of entry-level openings?

Entry-level means no college coursework/certifications, no real experiance needed, just a willingness to learn.

St. Pete/Pinellas County area, can't get too far as I don't have reliable transportation other than my bike (used to ride it 5 miles one way to my old job in PA, through ALL weather conditions)

I have 2 years experiance retail, but prefer non-retail work. Obviously have an interest in automobile so part stores or even a dealership office position might be interesting.

I'm still not to familiar with the area, so please don't send me across that 7 mile bridge (Gandy???) As well I do not have a Driver's License, so that severely limits what I can do, I probably would not have come down here ha d I posessed one. I had a faint interest in security guard post positions, as I like long boring work, I have no expereince in this field though.

If anybody has a word or knows anything, pleas ereply or send me a pm. Anything is greatly appreciated, I'm basically starting over here in FL, and I need to get right into it.

Go around to all the local auto parts stores, autozone, advance auto parts, napa, bennett auto, pep boys, and ask if they are hiring. I guarantee you almost all of them would be hiring, theres a pretty high turn over rate at those stores. I worked for AZ for 4 years through college and its a good place to start with little to no experience. You'll get to see almost all the parts of a car and get familiar with them. It is retail ...... but the easiest way to get some experience under your belt.

I appreciate it man, I did that and can only hope to get a phone call, with the age of technology has come a discrepancy in face-to-face meetings with managers of businesses, usually most candidates don't meet a direct supervisor or manager until on the job training begins, lessening the chance that the person really wants you on their team.

I think I may have messed up by using an old phone number that is, disconnected, awesome.

Autozone is probably the easiest. The store manager does the interviewing and hiring on the spot.
