Tampa Area How is the tampa area for car meets and whatnot? also how is the scene there? I may be moving there instead of gainesville for a while. Let me know guys thanks
The second Wednesday of each month, there is a meet at the HOOTERs on Gandy blvd in Tampa from 6p-10P. The next one is march 9th. Its a fun time to hang and talk cars. The thread is a couple thread below this thread.

There is a good car community in the Tampa Area. There are a few local boards you can check out, Mafia-motorsports.com, Grabalane.com, F-bodyinc.com and need2speed.com. TampaRacing.com is okay but it's mostly imports and just people trying to be ethugs. There are meets in different location just about every day of the week and the racing community can be good if you know the right people.
