lt1 help in tampa!!! a FRIEND of mine down there is having some issues with his car 94 z28 he drove to work wednesday went to go home wouldnt start took to some shop first they said it was a fuel pump then they said the wiring harness now they said opti.i swear every shop down there is about retarted and are insane on what they charge any chance someone whos knows what there doin check it out??? he lives off of busch blvd

Shoebox. Does your friend have a multimeter? It isn't too bad troubleshooting the opti, for the fuel pump can they hear it prime? If it doesn't prime I would check out the relay before doing anything crazy, or if they have a racetronix harness check the fuse in it. Is it cranking but not starting? I wish I were closer, I haven't had my tune issues sorted out yet so I don't really want to drive down to Tampa.
