Default Project: X-Raided

Well as some of you know I hydrolocked my stock motor. Instead of replacing it with the underpowered stock 3.7L or 4.7L I decided to go with a LSX 5.3L and a 4l60e transmission.

The truck is going to have:
Comp Pushrods
Comp 224/224 .589/.589 112 LSA
Walbro 255 fuel pump
LS1 Intake manifold
LS1 Fuel Rail
LS1 Ported TB
Shorties or Longtubes (Hoping Longtubes will fit)
Custom True Dual Exhaust
Tune by Josh @ Lashway

Tranny is out of the truck

Motor is getting ready to come out:

Motoring Coming Out:

Ollie Cutting the Motor Mounts Out:

4l60e is being rebuilt:

5.3L I just picked up today with 0 miles on it put the LS1 Intake Manifold and TB on it:

That's because Lashway is #1 and he wants the world to know it lol.

Now if someone was selling a 224/224 cam we could use in the truck lol

Update:

Motor mounts are finished and the motor fits in the engine bay really nice looks like it was made for the truck. There is so much room in the engine bay, make me want to through a turbo in there now lol. I guess I just have to start piecing it together

Mock-up Motor getting lowered in.

Motor Mounts are all done.

Mock-up with heads and intake manifold and messing around to see how a turbo would fit lol
