Default Drivers Window Motor

Hey Guys

(I hope I'm allowed to ask this question??).

My car is away from me in Melbourne (32940) and the driver's window has started acting up. Car has 83+K, so I guess it's time.

My question is, "Does anyone have a recommendation for a good shop to fix the problem?"

Thanks for the consideration...

What exactly is wrong with the window motor? If you only need to replace it, its not that difficult assuming its on an fbody.

I used to be terified of replacing window motors because of using rivets. I read and printed the write up here on LS1. The motors are $55.00 at advanced auto and they bolt on with small screws and nuts. If your going to be a lifer fbody owner like me then it is best to do it yourself . There is also a video on youtube showing how to replace the motors.

Thanks...and you too johnP94.

The problem is my car is with my GF and I'm quite a distance away, otherwise I'd tackle it as I've dealt with the small number of issues I've had in the past.

Again thanks for your thoughts...
