Hey guys, I just got back from Florida after visiting family there for the first time. I stayed in the St. Augustine area and it was great. There is so much history in that city. Loved all the green, the nice roads (the roads in Ca are full of ruts and potholes), and noticed there was no graffiti on the freeway signs ( I guess another Ca staple). Went to the pump and the gas is 60 cents a gallon cheaper. You guys also have 93 octane! Being a southern ca surfer as well I didn't expect much in waves, but was pleasantly surprised while surfing decent waves at A st ( really nice people at the Pit Surf Shop). It was a great trip and I plan on making it a yearly tradition.

 

The recent weather we,ve had here accounted for larger than average waves. St Augustine is a good little vacation spot for once in a while. Being me & the wife live in Jacksonville, just north of there, it's been a fall back mini vacation spot for us.
Glad you enjoyed the tourist roads, we got potholes here too.

 

Ha ha yeah I guess I stayed on the tourist roads. Here in Ca our staycation spot is Laguna Beach. I was surprised that I saw more mustangs than lsx cars.

 

Glad you enjoyed it. Dont worry once you get into South Florida area there are plenty of us LS guys. And some really fast ones to boot. Best move I made was moving to Florida from Mass. Dont miss the winters one bit and can drive my SS year around!!!

 

Where in Mass? Grew up on the cape and have been in Florida for 6 years (since I was 20) I miss the big city of Boston wherei was before now but the weather down here is great and no inspection has it's plus.

 

Grew up in Bridgewater and my wife is from Raynham. Moved down back in 08
