Calm down guy. We have to start somewhere. My first car was an 02 V6 Camaro and I'm not gonna lie I modded it thinking it was fast but I was 17 then I learned after hanging out with some LS1 guys how puny my car was. So I traded it and never looked back. If you like the car that's fine but you're going to look silly if you try to race it or show out. For the price of LT1 cars these days I'd just sell yours and buy one of those. A car is just a car and you'll like a Z28 or Transam tons more than what you have now
I see you live in Jax also.. one word of advice, don't waste your money trying to make it fast. It's just a v6 that someone would use as a beater to save on gas. And you are getting too pissed at people because you're the one that seemed... how do I say it... dumb. And how old are you btw?

Compared to the 3.4, the 3.8s are fast. Like I said, the 3.4 was a tough little motor (I beat the tar out of mine and it held up), but that motor was just too underpowered for a heavy fbody. As a cruiser, it's fine...but just don't try to race anyone...9 chances out of 10 (and that is being veerry optimistic) you will lose. 0-60 was like 9.5 seconds.
But I drove one for 5 years and it was a great first car. Had I had anything faster, I may have not been here today to type this.
