Default Trying To Get Back Into An LSX

So over a year ago I decided to get a truck. Realized I just missed my Camaro too much and sold the truck. Trying to get into an auto 04-06 GTO or 98-04 Vette on a budget (in my budget the milage is anywhere from 80k-130k. I would get another Camaro/TA if it was clean enough. Any tips for things to look out for on the GTO's and Vette's? I know about the LED display and Column lock issues with the Vette's, but otherwise I am not extremely knowledgable regarding these vehicles and am trying to change that. Thanks for any help.

if you get a Vette, ENSURE the column lockout bypass is installed. If not buy one, cheap and easy install. unless you get a 01-newer C5 auto.

theres a thread on here linking to the typical GTO problems, maybe someone has the thread link

That thread link would be awesome. I used the search function, but could not find anything comprehensive. Thanks.

Most common issues with less miles:

Wire harness can rub on metal support behind glove box. Do a search for more information.

Fuel line could rub on fuel rail cover near drivers rear of engine. Will burn car to the ground if it does rub a hole in the line.

Radius Rod bushings should be replaced as OEM bushing were not the best.

Radiator tank will leak at some time

Battery drain issues if car is stored for 2-3 weeks without running.

Rear spring sag causing improper tire wear.

Strut rub causing improper tire wear.

Leather on top of rear seats gets hard if not treated, seams will split or seperate.

Steering wheel spokes will delaminate and look bad.

Head Liner could sag if its a southern state car

This is all i could come up with but I think this is pretty much all the bullets i remember about when i was interested in a GTO

Thanks a ton man. Really I'm leaning primarily towards the GTO because I am getting married next month and am getting some crap from my fiance and dad about the vette's having no backseat... The problem is just getting one in my price range that doesn't have obscene miles and isn't highly modified. Oddly enough, I want an automatic, but its making the search worse.

My Formula has a back seat, it should be way below your budget if you're considering a GTO, it's hardly modified, 87k miles.
