Machine Shop in SW Florida? Hello All, I had my oil pump in my LS3 go on me at Sebring this past weekend. The LS3 was a crate motor that I only had 4K miles on but time wise, was out of warranty from GMPP...
We have the motor out of the car now, and found light scarring on the crank main bearings... :-( So it looks like it's time to build it stronger!!! I'm looking at going to a fully forged rotating assembly and setting the new build up for a supercharger. The goal at the end of the build (with supercharger) will be 800HP/700ft-lbs torque at the flywheel to work with the current drive train components.
Does anyone have some recommendations for machine shops in the Sarasota to Ft Myers area?
