Headers in Florida

I'm about to buy some headers, and was considering some coated PaceSetters, but I was curious how well they hold up to rust in Florida with the humidity and torrential rainy seasons.

I'll save up for stainless if coated tend to have issues here. I figured since we don't live in snowy, cold areas, coated would be just fine and go with my budget (i.e. I'm not really wealthy and have to save for things).

So, anyone in the mid-western portion have any opinions/experience on the matter at hand?

Ya i think you just get mainly surface rust if that at all

surface rust only here, and daily driven for about 6 months with them. Rust just wipes off and they are good as new.

I would honestly save for stainless. With our weather, youll thank yourself a year or 2 down the road.

buy a used set of stainless headders for cheep in the fs forum hell i got my jethots new for like 300-400

My pacesetters have held up great. Over 2yrs only light rust on the right header with the AC drips on it. No issues.

I have a set of ceramic coated Hooker headers that have some rust on my 2002 Formula , on my 98 I have Kooks stainless headers that are in perfect shape. With the rain/humidity in FL it seems that stainless is the way to go.
