daily driver wanted!

daily driver wanted! i would post this in the WTB, but i don't need a car from alaska or ny.
I have to drive 30 miles each way a day to school, and starting in november i have mercedes benz training which is a 45 mile drive each way. My car is constantly having problems, and at 16mpg this **** just isn't happening anymore.
My budget is 1200 or less, because i really don't want to put money into another car, i just want something thats going to start every day and get me good gas mileage, preferable a car where parts are a dime a dozen(honda, toyota, nissan, s10, ranger, etc)
i would prefer a pickup truck, so i can haul **** around for my car.
if anyone has anything, or knows of anybody who does, please let me know.
i'm in the central florida area(longwood, seminole county to be exact)

i have a 91 taurus.. runs excellent with cold a/c.. has a cracked rear bumper and really could use cleanup.. paints decent.. it has a front end noise i beleive to be wheel bearing but i haven't looked in to it.. it was driven 21 miles one way to work everyday for about a year by a coworker.. then it quit running.. i traded another car i had for it.. turned out to be the starter solenoid.. its fixed now with a new lifetime warrentied advance piece.. fuel guage is broken and gearindicator thingy isn't connected.. guy had the dash off cause he thought it was a wiring issue and i didn't hook it back up.both the fuel guage and the indicator worked before it was removed so i prob fprgot to hook something up.. NO smoke or nothing
gets decent mileage.. seems to have new fuel rails.. or at least really clean ones.. new cap rotor plugs wires.. i had it listed for 1300 but am open to offers.. lemme know if your interested.. i'm less than an hour away
