I went to Jai Alai to meet my friend and stopped at the Publix next to the meet. I did'nt bring my car bye because its running crappy( Opti probably) and there really was nothing but mustangs( and a viper). Bringing a Camaro to that is just asking to start stuff.

I drove by that Orange and 50 meet last night around 11. I was gonna stop by but I was really tired. I saw a group of a bunch of peopel in a circle and a few ricers on the other side fo the road. I'll come once I get my damn opti replaced and can actually drive without sputtering.

Anyone got directions to the parking garage for the UCF club meet?

As best as I know, coming down university, take a left onto alafaya, go into the other entrance for UCF (where the sign for the arena is). Go past the 1st stop light, pass the arena on the left, and the parking garage will be on the right? Correct?

I'm all late and ****, but before the stang meet I went to play soccer and got caught in that heavy downpour. Got rain all in the car and sat in a parking lot for an hour because I had no weather stripping and no wipers. When I did finally leave I drove 25mph all the way home. To top it off, driving out of a neighborhood, the street was flooded as hell, it was high enough to come inside my car , and almost stalled me because I know my exhaust were fully submerged because they angle down. So I just parked it when I got home and didnt go out to that meet. I have a question though, if your exhaust get submerged under water, what happens and what can the consequences be?

And usually the guys at the mustang meet are pretty cool, I know a couple of the turbo fox bodies that go out there and they are cool.

It will travel up your tail pipe and into your block. Bye bye. rebuild. Next time go real fast through the water.

Ever see the rescue people helping the person out of the car when cought in a flood.

Now the engine didnt cut off, it did act like like it wanted to though before I got oujt of the water so I gun it to get through quicker. If the car didnt cut off or die on me then I should be ok right? Plus I dont think water made it to the block.

if air is constantly being pushed out through the tailpipes, how is the water going to go up, travel 10 feet and then go 2-3' UP into the engine which is blowing OUT air? The only way for water to get into your block i would believe is through the intake.

but i dont think its good for you to have water around the entire bottom of your engine. i know it can f' it up like that through the pulleys, radiator or something, if someone can correct me?

I see all the military hummves and trucks with the exhaust up high so the water does not get in. Every time there is a flood someone is always getting stuck and had to be saved because they drove slow through the water.

And i had to rebuild some engines in trade school that were flooded.
