quick question

I have a stock ls1 engine and I was wondering if I put a Z06 cam do I have to also put in cylinder heads.

its a total waste of time and money to put a z06 cam in a stock ls1. spend the 375 bucks and buy a real cam and valve springs.

its not a complete waste..but i would strongly urge you to put a bigger cam in if your going to do it, also you need new springs an pushrods with a cam

the only thing that would make it worth while, is if you got the cam for free and you were a guru at cam installs....

i think youd gain more adding headers to the car....if you really want a small cam...just get a 220/220 and some ls6 springs...
