Speedworld scale accuracy

The speedworld scale claims my car is 3390lbs without me in it. That seems light. Any idea how accurate their scales are?

That seems right on to me for a z28.....they are the lightest of all f bodys (unless it's a stripper)

I weighed my silver Formula at an event in Commerce at Atlanta Dragstrip`s digital scale and the car+me was 5lbs heavier then Orlando`s scales so they are fairly close.

I believe its pretty accurate...

My car weighed in at 3270, when my big *** got on it, it went up 310ish lbs, my weight for a 3580 race weight

seems about right, comparing your car to mine 3.8L iron block is about the same wieght as an ls1, but I have a 5-speed, which is siginificantly lighter then a 6-speed.

6-speed difference and gfx could be 120 lbs.

I use the scale at the local land fill. They have to calibrate it daily to make sure it stays accurate. I'll be running my car over there in a month or two to see how much weight it has dropped or gained with this recent round of mods.

i thought my car was light.

i believe it said 3450 without the spare. i have a birth certificate for the car that i think said it only weighed 3400 from factory.

Hmm, OK. I just expected the car to be a bit more of a 'fat pig'. I've removed the spare and rear seats (only to haul the race tires), but no other intentional lightening.
