WTB - ls1/6 block or shortblock
WTB - ls1/6 block or shortblock I bought a swap from a salvage yard in Houston, Texas. Car would not hold an idle even with tuning, did a compression test and 2 cylinders were dead zero compression, the rest were 190 across the board. Not to mention a crack I had welded up, and the had rust inside the block.
Now I need a good Ls1/6 block or a shortblock, I need something in running condition or a good block.
Please work with me on price, I am pretty much done with my ls1 rx-7 and was going to register it this week until this happened.
I can't stress enough that I need a good shortblock or block, I just don't have the patience or funds to deal with another crappy motor or block.
PS- I am near Delray Beach.

On a completely different note, I have a good bare 99 LS1 block I will sell for $300 cash...I live in Cooper City (outside Ft Laud.) but I work here in Delray. If you'd like to see the block, that can be arranged one evening.
