Default Sound byte needed

Please help me.

Looking for a sound clip or personal listen on the following set-up (or something close)

1. LS1
2. Medium Length Headers
3. NO CATS
4. Hooker Aerochamber muffler

Looking for the following
1. In car idle
2. In car rev
3. Outside sound
4. Cruise @ 60

Just want to be sure that without cats my system won't sound raspy. Any input on this?

taking off the cats wont make it sound like ****,straightpiping it prolly will.magnaflo makes a pretty good muffler. its got real low restriction. mine has a slugmaster muffler(not by my choice, i bought it that way) so i compensated for it by installing a cutout just before it. i run the cut out half open so half the exhaust goes thru the flowmaster cuz they may be a little restrictive but they do sound awsome plus it muffles the raspyness of straight pipe. as far as inside sound its not bad. you dont have to raise your voice to talk cuz all the noise is at the rear. i hope i helped. sorry so longwinded.

I am leaving the Aerochamber, but I have a cutout before the Aero. Just want to be sure that when I uncap the cutout, the lack of cats won't make it raspy.

What about with the cutout open. My cutout is roughly 4-6" AFTER where the cats will be removed. So essentially I will have the sound directly from the headers.

Adrian hes asking about both....

Ragingwolf51...the muffler is a whopping $60 or something, and if you use the cutout its gonna be loud no matter what, comes with the territory.just do it and stop worrying itll sound good.

I can give him all the sound he wants. I just don't have a cutout. I do not have cats either and no rasp here.. I think with a cutout it will be loud for sure. Hell its loud with the aero chamber at WOT

I have QTP LT and then a ORY then a e-cutout then the poor flowmaster. I love the sound of the cutout but my pipes hit the floor which is annoying but if i ever install my motor mounts that will solve that problem. but you have the two options you can be loud or be quiet and go through the muffler so you go both options.
