Do I need a lawyer? I have been making a left turn at this same intersection for the past 2 years. Now they put a 1' by 3" sign that says "No Left Turn". I didn't even see it. Now I have to pay $115, but here is the question.
The officer told me I can plead "Nolo Contendere" and he would put me in for a recommendation for traffic school if I took it to court.
Do I need a lawyer there as well or not?

yes they will take care of it 99% of the time, but u may have to pay them and nearly 200 in court costs...
i beat a ticket, but had to pay lawyer 150, 193 in court costs, and 95 for advanced driving school (8 hrs)...
so instead of 150 for ticket and the 30 bucks for the 4 hour course i paid over 400 and had to take an extra 4 hourse in driving school..
so now its not on my record at all, but i still got screwed over...
ohh i was clocked doing 86mph in a 70 by air patrol on I-75... it pissed me off because people were flying past me.. i asked the cop why i got pulled over when people were obviously going faster and he said "thats part of owning a sports car" (this was in my 95 3.4L)

I went WOT out of a toll booth right infront of a cop, got a 98 in a 70 and failure to stay within a single lane, my laywer got it dropped 100%, no court costs or driving school at all.
Cpos are crooked, I got a ticket in T-ville said I was going 70 in a 55 all BS went to court had a friend in the car, went with me to court, the judge sided with the cop, I don't know how I was going 70 when I was slowing down for a for a truck that had just come off a red light, I have 30 day to appeal, I'm looking into getting a lawyer and sticking it to the bitch judge, I didn't know that you could get a accurate pace measurement in 1/10 of a mile, what a bunch of ****!
