How many runs can you get for the ten dollars. OSW cetainly doesn't have the best track prep, but it's the overcrowding that really sucks. Throw in a couple of oil downs and you just paid fifteen bucks for one or two passes. I'm just too impatient to spend an hour or two at a time waiting in line.

Yes, we had 5 oil downs on Friday night, and it was hell to deal with.

That night we actually scraped the rubber off of the track and refinished it. At Funday Sunday (and I know Dave and Eric will side with me), EVERYONE was hooking! Had roughly 3 cars break their rear ends because of the traction, and motorcycles that weren't used to that were doing wheelstands.

Sounds like enough traction to me

We prep the track just as well as any others do. It hooks well.

Sundays are even worse as far as overcrowding is concerned.

If you have a 400 or 500hp car the track usually works good enough. Did you notice my car spin the tires hard about 100 feet off the line and almost hit the wall , Randy only preps the (STARTING LINE) 1 time per TnT on Wed, Fri or Sundays. I have had only 3 good runs out of 20 nitrous passes at OSW in the last year , I have never spun the tires at Bradenton on any run ever in 20 years.<<<track prep

wait time can be about the same. usually better. last december funday sunday was a mess. was running about evey 1.5 hours. then guys controlling the lanes skipped 1&2 twice making us wait 4 hours. they did cap the track entries to 200 cars. the track prep makes up for it.

Then how come everyone I've talked to (and I mean everyone) calls it spinworld?

My 12sec car spins the tires at OSW, MT Drag radials... Only time I hook no problem there are during point nights..

It can be a damn good track at times, but for TnT its not that good, but I have heard the same about other tracks..

This is true for OSW on points night or for events is very good but not TnT nights. If you are using MT radials I discovered that if you do a 1st gear to 2nd burnout for about 8sec then burnout up to the line I can cut good 60's even when the track sucks ( thats in an 11sec or 12sec car not a 9sec car).
BMP , Gainsville and Sunshine can also suck on TnT but I usually only go to these tracks for events and they are good, BMP is very good.
