Fs: V8 88' Rx7 The car is a 1988 Mazda RX7 with Grannys conversion kit. The car is running a 355 "010" block that was just freshened up, has less than 100 miles on it. It has cast crank, pink rods, and flat top slugs. The heads are World Products heads with 977 springs, titanium locks and retainers, with 1.5" promag rockers. The cam is a comp solid roller 280AR (236/236 .550/.550 on a 110 @.050) with crane 11522 lifters and appropriate pushrods. The intake is a Super Victor and really makes the car pull from 4k+ with the Holley 750DP on top.
Transmission is a stock rebuild TH350 with a 3000 stall. shift extension right at 4800rpm. Flashes to 4000 with a 100 shot off the line in 3000lb car.
Car is running stock IRS and has held 1.6 60's repeatedly and the granny's driveshaft has no signs of problems.
Ignition system is a Mallory points setup with small diameter distributor.
Tank is sumped and is running -8AN to the carb with a Holley Black pump.
the engine was just put together. car went 6.90's on a 150 shot and a 350/stock head, and average size flat tappet cam. this should come quite close to that on motor. that being said there will need to be some modification done to make this a legal track car, unless you want to pedal it down the track on the bottle.
