i havent heard that one yet huh? id say because of the f-bodys get the ls6 intake of 01 and 02 i know the f-bod 01 and 02 cam is smaller than 99-00 but it has more valve overlap causing a better scaviging effect.

they call the M6 the rear-end killer, but they say in an A4 the tranny will break before the other parts (all parts being stock)
i dont know what is better, buying a new rear-end or a new tranny, you can buy a beefed up rear-end for a M6 and never have any more problems, you buy a beefed up A4 and now you also have to worry about the rear-end breaking so then you have buy a new rear

neither its all preferance i have 110k on my stock trans the only problem i ever had with it was i had to replace the 1-2 and 2-3 shift solenoids i got the car with 68k on it with a motor that had 26k. a4's unless built dont like rpms more than 6000 from what i have seen and heard. also m6 cars will break driveshafts with a 12bolt and sticky tires and a spec clutch ask mark aka yellabird1232 or something about the time at jax he broke his driveshaft broke
