^^^yea but parties, girls, soccer away games, for the occasional 30 page paper...hell

better then writing arrest reports, dui's, and listening to old women tell me since i cant stop the dog next door from taking a dump in their yard, im useless...

18hour semesters for a sociology degree....was a breeze..

but to each his own....

Awake at 5:30 AM for 9+ hrs a day of work. 3hrs of class a night, then HW until I pass out around 11-12. Wake up and do it again. Monday thru Thursday. BS-Industrial Engineering. Yes, alcohol is a good friend.

My life the last few years of the Army were spent getting up at 4:30 a.m. and running 5-8 miles and then going in to do physical training with my soliders and running another 2-4 miles, then, stopping by the gym for 1-2 hours to lift. At 9:00 a.m. I was at work as a senior Master Sergeant supporting my Division staff officers and wargaming until who knows. Try fitting in studying for my Microsoft MCSE certification tests, being an assistant Den leader for my son's cub scout group, taking and picking the kids up to/from Tae Kwondo and piano lessons 4 nights per week and fitting in all the deployments for 1-3 weeks every month ... along with multiple late night hours prepping for inspections and alerts at 2:00 a.m. or 4:00 a.m. and pulling 24-hour Staff Duty in between.

Man, I don't miss those days. You can't imagine how many stoplights I fell asleep at trying to study Networking material getting ready for my next Microsoft test. Mondays just started it all over again each week.

I'm glad I'm out of the Navy, unexplainable to why your sitting around the hanger when you haven't fixed a jet in 6 hours.

Yeah ... I hear ya'. My 21-year career is over and I missed it so much I volunteered to go back when Afghanistan flared up. Because of my back, they wouldn't take me back in. My wife and kids were happy about it, but, I was very disappointed. I miss the commaradere' of the life ... and the challenges. It's probably the main reason I keep sinking money into this bottomless pit so I can step up to bigger and better challenges.

Oh yeah, I miss having so many people around, I def. had great times when not at work. On the other hand though, the day to day BS was horrible, I got out when my 4 years was up. Then the Reserves seemed to be even more screwed up, I was up at Mayport for about 5 drill weekends before I had to bail, it seemed worse than active duty!

As for current work, well on my first job today there were black widows hanging out under the house I was working at, not very pleased this morning.

Not really happy with my job at all, i just started, they are VERY unorganized and they're system is highly inefficient. No information is documented so it makes doing an already busy, stressful, difficult job that much more difficult.

Its paying the bills for now till I find something better..
