i am always tryin to start shizzit, it is what makes the world go around
We had talked about the gears before and Doc recommended 3.73 over 3.42, but maybe I can go even more aggressive now? Do want to be able to complete the 1/4 without shifting out of 3rd though. Also willing to go a little more aggressive on converter, but the tightest converter possible that will allow for high 10sec passes.
2002 Corvette Coupe
-P1SC ProCharger with 4.10 pulley, 7-8psi
-Shorty Headers, Cat-less x-pipe, Bullet exhaust
-Blown Transmission, Leaky Differential
I will be replacing the ENTIRE Driveline behind the motor in a month ot two. Top notch Converter, RPM Stage V A4, DTE Stage IV rear diff. w/ hardened output shafts, and the DTE Transmission/Differential Brace. I want to be able to barely hit tens, i.e. 10.99 with either Nittos or maybe BFG Drag Radials (18in. wheels in back) and I'll be satisfied.
So with a blown LS1 ~ 500rwhp, and a lighter C5 (not sure how much lighter than an f-body), what is the best gear/converter combo to use to hit tens?
I want to run the most aggressive possible gearing while still being able to complete the 1/4 in 3rd gear, so 3.73? Maybe more? And the least agressive (i.e. tightest) converter possible with those gears to be able to sneak into the tens.

Wish me luck Saturday night its 11's or bust on motor
