Sorry to hijack the b.s. thread with technical discussion, but can anyone of you a4 guys help me out? I've got a thread in the a4 section, but only performabuilt has responded. I need a Torque Converter that will be real tight, especially with my 2.73 gears, real easy on the tranny (i.e. not a lot of extra heat) and somewhat on the mild side (street tires) I was thinking of a yank ss3200 2.1str or maybe a vig 2400 or 2600? I want a 2800-3000rpm actual stall speed, but I don't want one of the cheap yank 2800 or 3000 that are 12", and from what I've heard you have to order vigilante converters small becasue they underrate the stall speed. Any suggestions? Just want to get into the blower's meaty range quick, but without an all-out drag strip converter b/c I want to keep my street tires.

the problem fellas is that this car doesnt want to be fix, it doesnt want to all good...
you fix something it breaks again, or something else goes.....from alternators locking up, to motors blowing up, to racks falling apart, **** burning....this car doesnt want to be whole....its not the easiest thing to just keep throwing money at it....
you realize in the critical oem parts ive had to replace to be able to have this car as a dd....its been over 12k dollars....in ONE ******* YEAR...thats not even counting perfomance parts....jesus if i could have had that money....but i cant wait a week while the cars down to get some aftermarket part shipped to me....and then another week to install the bitch....i should have bought a bike before i did anything to this car
this is why im just tired of dealing with it...
