how do you know when to stop?

I thought u had to get a tool to mesaure this and that and the other so you don't go to far.

digital volt ohm meter. you hook it up to the tps and read it after grinding little by little. dont go over 4.xxx volts or you will need a new tb or have to drill and tap it for a set screw.
