this time we are doing this with NO sponsers. next time i might
try to get a few sponsers to help out. i have a few ideas that
im working on.
How does everyone feel about the end of Feburary?

 

Would be really cool to do this quarterly, or maybe every other month or something like that.

 

i would love to do this 3-4 times a year. but with the car shows we
are in, we probably couldnt do it.

 

We would be all over doing this several times a year !!! Doesn't get any better than track rental...breakdowns are rare compared to test & tune

due to some of the guys dropping out for what ever reasons,
breaking, or having to go out of town, etc. the list is changing
constantly. so please remember to check the latest one to make
sure that i havent forgotten anyone. some of the names have
been moved around to fill in empty spaces.
The FINAL list will be posted on Aug. 22nd in the evening. but if
anyone else shows up at the track and wants to race they can,
all they have to do is find me and pay then get teched.

the track mgr. faxed the contract to us yesterday.
they have informed us of some extra charges that might be applied.

"Clean up truck will be on site for the day's event. In the event that
more than 5 bags of oil-dry are used, there will be an additional $25
a bag charge. If an oil down does occur and the track has to be
resprayed with VHT a $100 charge will be added. We will also be
responsible for all clean up of trash before we leave."

i thought you guys would like to know this ahead of time.

my brother has a friend with a quick little mustang. he is supposed
to be giving him my number. i am going to tell him to bring both cars
and to get his racing friends to come to.

and there is a kid around here with a black GTO, sounds good, but
who knows how good he can drive it. Mark is going to tell him about
it tomorrow.

JR from JR's Classy Chasis may be bringing a few of his cars to.
they are wicked fast.

 

Chris Mize(track mg.) called me about an hour ago. He wanted to
make sure that we are still a go for Friday. I told him YES. He told
me that he need the money by Tuesday or Wednesday. So guys
I need you to pay up so that the $$ part is covered.
