OSW on 8/30/07 Saw quite a few LS1's out tonight. Didn't get to see too many times. Just wondering if many of you are on the site? I think mine was the only car I saw w/o a FAST intake, lol.
Anywho...
My new baseline times are (recalling from memory because I don't wanna walk out and get my slips)...
2.3XX 60'
9.1XX 1/8th
13.6XX 1/4
@ 106.02 MPH
and
2.3XX 60'
8.9XX 1/8th
13.8XX 1/4
@ 105.89 MPH
I don't know how bad that is...
But the car is an 02 Z28 M6 (with me being new to manual) 98,000 miles, and the original plugs/wires (that I am changing out next week). I have FRA, K+N, and a Fabbed up Y-pipe, and a bullet style muffler dumped before the axle (still includes stock cats).... On some cheapo street tires... I think it developed a slight miss tonight, I got a new SES light on the way home... Hopefully its just the same cats efficiency thing.
Oh, and my 13.6 run, I was staged w/ a 2007 corvette (non Z06). We were pretty dead even.
I ran 13.644 @ 106.02, and he ran a 13.618 @ 106.04, only difference was that he pulled a 2.0XX 60' to my 2.3XX... I talked to him after, and he said that he was getting use to it, and that he had traction control on...

Not bad if youre new to manual. Youre car should be low 13's easily, once you get used to manual and especially when you get your 60' down. That vetter owner needs to def work on his runs. I would suggest getting some different tires.
yea im pretty sure i saw your race against the vette. do to street tires that night i only pulled off a 13.6 @ 106. id like to get some slicks to see if i can get back into the 12.8 range like before. but for not being at the track in a while it sure was a fun night!
