Well, I did run it through the BP auto-wash 2 nights ago after work, so it's not totally awful. I had to get the transmission fluid off my driver-side fender/door/window. On the way to work Wednesday morning, I managed to run over something very hard coming off the ramp onto Water St. downtown. With my incredible luck it managed to somehow hammer right onto one of the connectors/hose going into the transmission cooler. When I got to the parking garage entrance, I had to put the car in park because I was too far from the pass reader. I stepped right out into a nice big red pool of fluid!!!
I lucked out it happened where it did and I didn't kill the new tranny. AAA tow and $70 check to my local mechanic and I was back at work by 2pm. If I had destroyed my new drive-line I would have gone apesh!t.
Unfortunately the cushy new job didn't work out after only 2 weeks, so I'm back on my @$$ again looking for a job while the wife gets to play sugar-mamma. I still haven't picked up my MBA from UNF, I think I'll wait until we run out of toilet paper again because I'm starting to feel like it will only be good for wiping my @$$ with. Tomorrow will be a welcome distraction.
