Inferior computer, inferior fuel system(i'm told), weak rod bolts and pushrods. You already replaced this stuff on your vette euro so it doesnt realy apply to yours.

Why the f*ck would you pay 17k for an auto vette with almost 100 thousand miles when i paid 15 for a 2002 Z28 M6 with 24k miles on it, it had new car smell for crying out loud, you do what ever you want to bro, but i just dont see the point, i conciderd all of this when i sold my T/A

Its all about getting the most for your money

sorry to hear that **** happened man, but cars can be replaced. my **** got all sorts of fucked up. I thank god I came out alive but I improved from an LT1 to a LS1 and got enough $ to make a down payment on a house. I did have to fight the insurance company tooth and nail before they budged but its better than being fucked in the *** by them. Don't bother to listen to their used car salesman bs, tell them what you want to do and make them do it. You pay their bills and income with your insurance rates, so you have every right to tell them what to do, I got away with doing that ****. They want you to fight for what you deserve otherwise their whole industry would be in shambles because they know they can take advantage over a majority of the people they insure.

Inferior computer, yes, but weve got that covered.

97-98 Vettes actually have a far superior Fuel system, capable of handling alot more Horsepower due to it beeing a true return system.

Pushrods are the same

Rod bolts i do agree with, and no i havent changed mine yet, but for 100 bucks or so i dont see that as a distractor if he finds the car he wants.

Beeing that were in Florida (Corvette central) means you can find a very very nice vette for less then 20k, and as a whole vettes are generally much better taken care of here due to most of them are owned by old men and they are garage queens.

17k for a 100k mile vette IMO is not the right price, i payed 17k for my pristine garage queen with 50k miles, you can find a dam nice 99-00 for under 20 if you dont want swap the computer, once again the computer swap shoudnt stop him if he finds the right car, weve got that covered.

Rob if your serious about buying a Vette, when that time comes let me know and ill give you all the details ive learned from owning mine and shopping for them around here.

Only think i think id do differently if i had to do it all over again is i think i would have rather had an Auto..
