Default First night at moroso!

Hey guys, saw A LOT of F-Body cars out there last night. Anyone on here go? I'll be going again soon so let me know if anyone is out there for Test & Tune. First time at the track so I think I did pretty good. One problem... got two runs in before rain out, both runs I had on traction control I was too pumped up to notice till the second run when I felt the gas pedal get pushed back up at me... o well.

Best time was my first run, think I would've done better the second run because I launched quite a bit harder (traction control FTL).

1st run
60' 2.168
330 5.884
1/8 8.884
mph 82.75
1000 11.466
1/4 13.667
mph 102.66

Going again after tune and gears from MASPORTS!

For anyone that wants to see my horrible reaction time against a fellow f-body lol. 13.73 here at 103.42 Traction Control was a major factor I think, launched much harder than first run (not uploaded atm) and I felt the gas pedal push up!

Gongrats on your virgin runs!!
We are looking forward to improving your car and getting you back out on the track!

FWIW, it is MASPORT, not MASPORTS lol, perhaps one day when our bay gets a bit larger we can consider the shop "plural" lololol

See ya soon!!

Don't worry, we have all made the mistake of forgetting to turn off TCS before we let her rip, or attempting a burnout lol..at least I have a time or two..that is why I am getting rid of it all together!!!

I'll be moving down there in about 5 mo's...
living 1/2 hr from moroso.
My bro has lived there for 20 years I think. He has a bike shop 'Holeshot cycles, and races moroso all the time.
Not looking foward to the heat...
My only runs with my SS was at Moroso in 03, It did a 13.2 at 108 bone stock... nice track.
I'll see ya there soon.... this time with my twin turbos strapped on.

I will...
I wont be able to let her rip at the track till I get a roll cage.

My bro is already building me a Harly drag bike with a 124ci motor.
His bike is doing 9.1's right now.
You boys might have to build me a short block when I get down there, Ive been pushing the stock one for a few years know at 8# of boost.

Just shoot us a PM, we get great deals on parts and assemble all motors in house.
I plan on building my motor sometime in the coming year, hopefully a 427- just for its historic value with past GM cars! (and oh yeah, 800 RWHP N/A lol)

By the way, we also specialize in motorcycles and can dyno bikes if you are looking for a reliable dyno tuning shop for the bike, no matter how fast it is. Dan, the owner, has had a few bikes and really knows a thing or two. We are not limited to only 4 wheels!

WAZUP340 - I was there but I didn't know who you were. I believe I have you on video. I'll be at Moroso with a couple of other guys with F-bodies for the Super Chevy Show on the 27th & 28. My time at moroso was a 13.2 with a 2.0 60' on 9/28. My best was 13.0. PM me if you have any questions.

Rick
