UF playcalling....
UF playcalling.... Ok the past two games we have had more than sub-par play calling. Most everyone knows that Mullen the offensive coordinator had an apendectomy the day before the Auburn game and was mainly calling plays because no other coaches on the staff have had experience calling plays.....which is problem #1. Urban Meyer is a great coach, but he should be able to call plays as a head coach, especially if your offensive coordinator just got out of some pretty gnarly surgery. I mean all he had to do was call Tebow draw, Tebow left/right, reverse, play action to harvin, moore up the middle lol.
Problem #2, we need a timeout/challenge play coach in Urban Meyer's ear. I don't know if anyone else saw this but Moore's knee was down before the ball came out in that fumble against LSU. It seemed as if there was no effort to even consider challenging that play. Les Miles proved that gambling like that can pay off, the crowd went nuts when we lost 10 whole yards on that kickoff. Then why in the world did we not use a timeout with a 1:40 left and LSU threatening to score. Even if they would have only gotten a field goal, the game would have been tied and we'd still have some time left on the clock to try and get a field goal to win.
I don't have room to criticize as I have nothing to show, but it just seems that someone is having a brain fart on the coaching staff! Four plays going the other way and the gators would be 6-0 and most likely #1 right now, but would ifs don't win games!
