Default What do you think?

I am looking for a set of wheels for my car and I found somebody selling 5 ZR1's and only 2 are in good shape. 2 of them have a slight wobble and wont balance. The guy wants to get them out of his garage so I can get them pretty cheap. The problem is I would either have to get two repaired (its like $120 per wheel) or find two more really cheap OEM ZR1's. I cant decide if its worth the time because OE wheel creations sells 4 new 17" by 9.5" ZR1s for $400 brand new. What do you guys think?

$120 seems like a lot to repair the wheel, it would only be worth it if you got the wheels DIRT cheap.

I have 2 chrome OEM 17x9 ZR1's with tires for sale. I'm close to Orlando so I'll even deliver them to you. Check it out.
Two Chrome 17x9 OEM ZR1's
These wheels were removed from my 1999 Camaro SS. They have been off the car for over a year because I am running 17x11's in the rear now. There is minor pitting in the chrome, but they are 8 years old so that is expected. I'd give the chrome a 9 out of 10. They are wrapped in Falken Ziex 275/40-17 tires. Tread is still good.

What 17x11 wheels did you go with? ALL the ones I can find just are not an exact match to the OEM fronts. The spokes have a different shape where they meet the rim.

That would be cool but they are painted silver. I dont think I am going to get them because its going to be a hassle finding two more wheels dirt cheap.

On a side note, you got your wheels from OE Concepts in Sarasota right? If so do their 11" ZR1's fit without any hammering? I just know the offset makes all the differences with the 11's in the back.

I got mine from Tomzwheels. The brand is OE Concepts though.

I had to hammer my wheels wells. I have 315 Goodyear GS-D3's, which are more like 335's so that played a big role in how much I had to hammer. Don't be scared to hammer though. Its not hard at all. Make sure you get some rubberized undercoating to spray in the wheel wells to protech the bare metal after you hammer. I also have a +50mm offset.
