Default change oil

I had changed the oil , but how do I reset the cpu to get the light to stop coming on

well ...you don't say what u have....but...if you have a 98-02 ls1...put key in 'on' position..[not running]...push plastic trip meter stick/button for 3-5 seconds..look to the 'oil change' light..it will blink 2-3 times and then go out...you are finished.

Push and hold the trip reset button for 5-10 seconds.
