Default Jax members help??

Hey Guys,

Ok,I have some ideas brewing in my head. I have no idea which way I am goin. But here they are.

I have a wrecked 00 Z28. Engine is good as is the k-member,fuel tank, everything under the hood, front end so on. The dash is gone as is every other interior part.

Now. I am looking into buying a cheap roller to do a conversion on. I have $1000 into the wrecked car,but is worth that in parts alone. I may have found a deal on a 94 Firebird for $200. So all together I'll be out $1200.Well I found out the trans got cracked,so there is another $200-500 there)

Now, could I strip the bird down to nothing and install my LS1 components? And make it work? Such as dash harness etc? I mean how much work will that be? And anyone who is pretty handy with wiring willing to help? I am pretty knowledgable about engines, etc, but wiring and so on isn't my forte.

Or do I do a stand along harness and have all custom gauges etc?

Or do I just not be such a cheap bastard and buy a 99+ F body? I mean I am not afraid to spend a little time and get dirty,if I can save some cash.

Because I also plan on modding it of course, Headers,Stall,Intake, cam, etc

So I am looking for input and opinions, and maybe if I get the ball rolling, anybody willing to help out? (I would greatley appreciate it and would pay anyone willing to)

Long post I know, but Just wondering

to replace the whole interior of a car and the wiring can be a MAJOR pain, and cost some money...id say if u had a rolling chasis with interior do it...but you might be better off just getting a used car and cleaning it up
