Moving to Florida.. I know this is quite a ways away but I'll be moving to Florida in 2010 and I'm just wondering where some nice places to live are located in Western Florida? I'll be looking for probably a 3bed/2bath house in a nice area. How much do houses run over there in Florida? I currently live in California and they are a bit pricey here. And what about jobs? Easy to come by or not? Thanks for the help in advance.
I dont know how much on the west coast but on the east coast just above west palm beach you can buy a new 3bd 2 1/2 bath 2 car garage w/ lot for $139,000 the same w/a pool for $179,000 and next year they will probally go down in price.For the next 2 or so years florida houseing will fall in price because of all the foreclosers.So now is the time to buy even if your not going to move here for 2yrs. I was thinking about moving to Florida also. I am in my last semester in college, my degree is insurance. Was vacationing last week at St. Pete beach and the surrounding areas. seemed nice but it seemed as either you were rich or poor. I would like to be in a nice suburb area with decent houses. Where would I go? St. Pete, Miami, Jacksonville, Daytona beach, Orlando??? Also are any of you in the Insurance Industry and live in Florida?? How is it going for you or are there any good Companies you would want to work for??
