I've had out of state tickets in Tennesse in 2001(?) and Illinois in 2007. I never paid the Tennessee ticket and it hadn't shown up on my license by 2006. The Illinois local cop said they had an agreement with Florida and to make sure I pay it. But he also asked if I wanted to pay the fine right then and there. The clerk in their county found that interesting.

I got one in a construction zone in GA a few years ago for 77 in a 55 too. Mine was $300+ though.

^ Hmm, I'm hoping this isn't going to be that expensive. The part that ticks me off is I just spent about $650 for school crap and then this ticket. That's a bunch of money gone with not much to show for it except a bunch of text books I won't be using much.

That's a very good point.

It was my fault and I said I was worthy of it. I'll pay it and all. I'm just hoping it isn't very expensive. I've still got a lot of parts to buy.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. GA doesn't welcome FL peeps as we are considered the Banana Republic lol. Seriously, I llike GA a whole lot better than FL. The roads are curvy while ours is flat, scenary is awesome specially during the fall and spring. I take my bike up to GA 3 to 4 times a year to ride the lovely roads.
