crane cams
just talked to my contact at crane. looks like one of the racks in heat treating facility collapsed. these racks hold the cams that are being heat treated. when this happened, the extremely hot cams sent molten metal throughout the area and set off some of the fluids. the building is set up for this type of incident. above it is water tanks. the tanks released water and put out the fire. it was contained to only this area of the building. until the fire extinguishing system is rebuilt and the mess cleaned up (almost done), cam (and other items that are heat treated) production is slowed.
