Default New Ride

I just got this Rustang, My first ford It was a good deal so i picked it up for Cheap! its an 87 with a T-5, with some goodies im having fun with these 4.11, but def. wouldnt want to drive it everyday. I think it needs a shift fork though because it sometimes grinds going into 2nd and i know its not the clutch because the dude just installed a new one. But its funny with all the mods on it, it still cant hang with the Z28 and it only has a lid and free mods. and it has 2.73..

Clean looking fox. Can't expect much outta those ford motors though.......
I think that year has a hydraulic roller setup already though, and forged pistons. Car Craft or Hotrod did a writeup a little while back, the factory 5.0 motors of the time had some goodies. Just spray it and see if it can finally keep up with the LS1.

Yea but i wanted a second car that way i can take the Z off the road to do some mods and not have to be pressured to get it done before the next day and still be able to drive something with some scoot!

I think everyone should own a fox body at some point. It really makes you appreciate any other vehicle you own after it. They're a great platform with a terrible motor. Nothing like your motor breaking in half at 400-500hp

lol yea tru..... im a diehard GM guy but have always wanted a foxbody.. but its tru after i ride in the fox and then get in the Z its like night and day... That Fox rides like a brick granted im sure the suspension needs to be addressed but still it feels very harsh and the Z is soo smooth, and handles so much better
