#1) The Charger got demolished racing the supra.
#2) They took a beautiful blue camaro and drove it off a ramp and landed it into a boat. They also showed a red mustang get run over by an 18-wheeler earlier in the movie.
#3) They destroyed a viper AND a monte carlo in the beginning.... that irritated the **** outa me. I wanted to see the viper get smashed or beaten but, not both of them. Then, if your a mustang fan at all, it had to rattle you to your core to see'em transplant a 6 cylinder nissan motor in place of a V8. grrrr... gay. *The point was that an american kid was going to show up the asian drift king... Would have been cooler IMO to have him do it with american power not a goddamn skyline motor! haha.. oh well...
Makes me wonder how many muscle cars they will desecrate in the new movie.

The destruction of muscle cars always got to me, muscle cars are endangered, destroying them in movies is like tearing down the rain forest, or something like that.

Yes, really. I call it "Monkey see, Idiot do". Think about the impact "The Fast and the Furious had on the Aftermarket world. On opening night, "racers" saw the movie and said "Oh s***, this looks like fun dawg" and tried to race and duplicate what they saw on the screen. Unfortunately, some "racers" wound up in the hospital, and even at the mortuary.
When 2 Fast 2 Furious came out, Law Enforcement was out in FULL FORCE. The movie had a greater impact here in South Florida because the movie was set in South Florida (in fact, the scene where the Mustang gets crushed underneath the Semi truck was filmed about 2 miles from my parents' house). Racers here both went to the movies in droves, and then tried to duplicate what they saw on the screen.
Needless to say, the proactive method of policing that night saved MANY an ambulance ride.

Looks like it might be pretty good given the cast. I was bummed about the GN though since that was my first car. All the studio did was robably find a Regal and paint it black with a V8 rather than use an original GN with a turbo 6. I'll have to wait and see once more comes out about it but if I do see it I definitly won't go opening weekend.
