Which heads for 408

408w/f1a blower, I know lots of guys use the 6.0 heads so I want to know if I should go 6.0 or go with a ls6 head. The cr is going to be either 9.1 or 9.5.1

Hmm with a 408 and an F1a id say look into a thicker deck head like the afr 225s or maybe a pair of TFS heads. What are the power goals for your setup? 6.0 (317) heads will work but might not be the best for your setup.

Very please with my AFR 225's. You do want a "thicker" head to hold the boost.

ET's with a big chamber, if you can get them. If not, TFS would be choice #2.

AFR / TFS / ET do go with anything else like Navy David Mentioed thicker heads for boost.

Vengeance has the TF cast heads set up with dual springs out the door for 1650 can't go wrong. Plus they flow over 305 cfm @ .600.
