New ZR1 At The Track.
Its capable out of the box, but its not gonna hang with a real road race prepped Vette or other car.
Look, its just a rip-off. $130,000 is hilarious for a 2 seat American made sports car. I'd much rather have a Mercedes SL 55 AMG, 510 hp. At least I know it won't start falling apart in 5 years like the Vette will. And it will hold value, unlike the Vette.
Its all about value and performance for me, you have to have both. $130,000for a Vette is paying about 2-3 times what its worth. The Mercedes is also over priced, but look what you're getting...a seriously built car.
And I really don't care that the Vette will beat it on a track. 99% of people that buy Vettes have never even seen a track.
Don't mean to beat up on American made cars, but its just the way it is.

plus if it is your opinion, do you really have to defend it? if people on here flame you for it, then should you really be posting more of it up?
see how i used the edit button? it was so easy even a caveman could do it
coming from personal experience on AMG's since my roomie owns one. He's had it at the dealership more than any other car i've seen. So unless you've owned an AMG or worked on it, I dont think you should be saying how awesome it holds up.
My opinion? Have you ever seen the repair bill on anything out of warranty for a Porsche or a Mercedes?
If i had to guess id say the same if not more then an LS7. so $14K.... not sure..... prob way cheaper to build your own 383 or 402 and procharge it.
