Symmetrical or equal length tubes produce better scavenging. The longer the tube, the greater the scavenging affect.

According to the article I read in one of my car mags (Hot Rod or GMHTP) it's LS3 based, but they reinforced a few things in the block to keep it more rigid. Same with the heads, LS3 based, but with some new casting technique that makes them more heat resistant.

I see no reason a well prepped LS3 block wouldn't hold up just as well. In 2008, 640 HP at the crank isn't all -that- crazy on a Gen III/IV motor after all.

No, no oil system, no ECM/harness and no front drive accessories included with the LS7.

i would be glad if they only sold the sc with the pulley for the crank and the tensioners. iirc the wp, ps, are supposed to be the same as ls3 c6
top a 6.0 ly6 stock 9.6:1 with that sc and go.
