How good is a Ebay kit
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats what these forms is for to help ,And not to discriminate. I could see if i was doning someing like putting a ford motor in a transam
Well how respectful of you....just checked up on how this thread is going and damn if you didn't go ahead and slap me in the face.
Lets go over why these "FORUMS" not "FORMS" are here for. They are to share tech info about our beloved LS1 F bodies. OUR sponsors help keep this place running, out of respect to them and their sponsorship fee's WE DO NOT ALLOW LINKS TO NON SPONSOR SITES. This is a LS1TECH BOARD RULE.
If you have a problem following rules or why we have em, see yourself out of here ASAP as you will get handed a vacation in no time with a attitude like the one you have.
Discriminate?

No, being a mod I have rules to follow just like you do, if you break em I have to enforce those rules....S_I_M_P_L_E enough to understand?
Kyle, Thanks for the mod backup, and I knew you'd keep it.
Monello thanks again my favorite Ebay LS1 F Body Turbo kit dude

I agree with you, 67Firebird455. Once I received my kit I purchased a real turbo, and a Tial WG/BOV. I wasnt going to risk having any of the cheap crap blow my engine.
There is a HUGE amount of information on this forum. Anyone who wants to set this kit up can go to my thread for all the pictures and information needed.
Usually whenever I see a thread about the ebay kit, I do my best to step in and keep everyone informed not to break the rules. If it wasnt for this forum, a lot of us would have never attempted a turbo install.

Does ANYONE have DYNO or TRACK numbers to go with these kits?
Complete kit?...
Hot side only?...
Thats the main concern here... I think EVERYONE knows that there needs to be minor fab to fit most of this stuff... but what about....RESULTS???
Please 98Camaro let us know how it goes....

I have been driving mine to work lately and it is driving perfect. I also installed the LS6 intake and new injectors last night.
Going to get a new trans within the next few weeks and then it will get dynoed.
There is only like 4 of us who bought this kit. And it is just starting to warm up in Chicago. So I will post dyno numbers soon.
The $4 grand for piping is crap huh..... well you answered your own question and problem in your own post...............
Then build it yourself.......
A custom kit and thats what you will need to fit a T6 flanged turbo big enough to support a 400+ cube motor is going to cost some $$$$
$4k is way cheap....... you couldnt even buy half my kit for that............
Look at what it costs now to Procharge a car.....
This si how these threads get off course and locked...............

Jer, You know what i mean.... damn u ... u know i love the damn thing....

I will disagree about that.
Just priced out all the stainless to redo my entire setup headers to exhaust out the back and its 4500 for the stainless, thats a entire bad *** twin turbo kit -- of course I have some welding and cutting to do but that seems pretty normal these days?
All kinds of issues really. For some reason on the only clean pass I had there was only 9-12 degrees timing on a commanded 14. My IAT's were in the 118-135 range and the tires that I bought used are done. On the street there is no KR (there wasn't any during the WOT runs), and the timing is actually correct. I'll do some digging and find out whats going on there.
To do list:
-Fans so I can drive the car to the track
-Tires so I can actually hook up
-LCA relocation brackets to aid in the hooking up
-Learn to launch just off of the converter then use the 2 step
All in all it was a fun day. Mishaps here and there, but still fun. I'm figuring that when I get some new tires and LCA relocation brackets to get my 60' down and leave off of the 2 step, the car should be in the mid to high 6's in the 1/8th
