We used our blower camshaft with this STS build.

For cylinder heads I'd go with AFR heads if you can afford the $2,500.00 for them. For a lower cost head that makes decent power and works out well if you stay at or under 16 psi of boost, the Patriot Performance Stage 2 heads at $1,285.00 work out vey well. We have used them on quite a few builds with good results. Bob

I agree with the head choices. AFR or TFS if you have the money. If not then patriot performance 6.0 Liter heads. As for the cam shaft, not sure if the EPP 232/240 is too aggressive for your liking but it does make killer power. A more mild choice would besomething like the 225/225 speed inc FI cam. Is this going on a stock or built shortblock?

What about L92 heads? Would they be better then 6.0?

its an entirely stock block...im gonna be upgrading the bottom end in time, but im just looking to make a lil more power and make it into the 11's i have a wolfe race craft 6 point weld in cage and would like to see times were it is actually required.that 232/240 cam prolly woudlnt be bad considering that the car only sees the road on the weekends...my goal is to lower the compression to a boost friendly level with out doin a total rebuild at this time...

AFR 205s are hard to beat but are pricey.

Well if its just a weekend driver then I wouldnt hesitate at the EPP cam then. Also, the 6.0 Liter heads will lower your compression to approx 9.2:1 I believe? Would you be transfering the heads and cam to the new forged setup or would you be going with something totally different? If you are going to re-use the heads and cam id say go with a thicker decked head like the AFRs or TFS heads as others have suggested because they will work well in a high boost setup as opposed to the 6.0 Liter heads. When you build the bottom end will it be stock CI or are you going to go with a large CI engine? If your planning on a larger engine id say go with the AFR 225's. If you plan on staying stock CI then you could use either the AFR 205's or 225's.
