The best converter for Forced induction
If u have a efficient converter u should not have to lock it up to to do a wot tune and when u do lock it up u should not see a real big diffrence on the numbersI have a py3400 in a 4l80
Edge told me the high carbon single friction he uses in his single disk converters has 140% more holding capacity then a 3 disk Kevlar clutch. He said it's a $30 single disc compared to the 3, $4 Kevlar disks other company's use. I specifically asked him about locking it up in 3rd gear at WOT and he said he's had customer brake hard parts in the tranny before the clutch slipped and it will hold the power with out problem. Said he stands behind it 100% and if I break it, he'll fix it for free. I WILL be testing it for sure!

Vig has a 5 disc convertor you can look into (RPM sells hem). If my Yank SS3600 doesn't hold when I finish my build this winter, then that's the route I'm taking. Good luck!
