Turbosmart wastegates

Turbosmart wastegates I have a powergate 50 made by turbosmart and this thing is an absolute MONSTER compared to the 48mm progate I had on the TA. I really think it's an overkill for the amount of boost I plan to run on the 408. I'm guessing I can't get away with an ultragate 38mm unit to run 10psi? I may go with the Pro gate 50 since it's smaller than the old 48mm unit, just wanting some feedback. I have the powergate 50 for sale in the classifieds, just listed it and have pics, brand new, so if you're looking, now you know! =)

yeah anything bigger than a 38mm is a must. Something like the Tial 44mm or JGS 50mm should work perfectly without it being physically HUGE...How much do you want for that monstrous wastegate - im looking into boosting like 20lbs so i might be interested in something that big lol

Fenix, I'm looking for $475 shipped, just to pay for the pro gate 50, which is smaller than the old 48mm I used to have on the TA, which I can live with. =) I'll pick up a pro gate 50, and call it a day!
lol, Turbosmarts are awesome.
FWIW, my turbosmart 38mm has outlasted me two motors, one turbo, and two BOV's... lol
I used it to run 8 psi for two years... It never crept...
Now I use it to run 16 psi for over a year now... Sticks to it good.
Running it in conjunction with a Turbosmart manual boost controller and a Megasonic BOV.
