Default Timing Set Question

I am planning to install a Magna Charger later this year. (Hopefully the government will help me out with that in a few weeks I just ordered an LS6 oil pump and C5R timing chain from Katech yesterday with the sale they have going. (great deal btw) I talked to Jason and he said I didn't need to worry about replacing the gears. Is that the case? It seems strange not to do it while I'm there but haven't dealt with this before. What do you guys say?

Also, I plan to do heads and cam at a later date.

Anybody? Did I post this in the wrong section? I know someone has to have an opinion here?

If your using the Katech/JWIS HME-G68V-2 (fondly referred to as the C5R timing chain) than you can use your stock gears. You should always inspect them for ANY wear in the link area and at the cam retainer plate area. If they are serviceable, there is no issue with using them.

Ok thanks. I only have about 66k on it so I doubt I'll see excessive wear. Thanks again for the info!
