LMR in Doha Qatar!!
We ran today. The car has been sitting since the lsx shootout and we tested at the New Track in Qatar. Very first pass we went 7.62 @ 180+. You all have to keep in mind that this was on a FOOT BRAKE!!!!! The next hit the clocks didn't read correctly and then on the Third pass we shook the tire very hard and shattered a 35 spline axle. We have new parts on the way and hope to make the race.

the sand issue is not as bad as you think , the dust just gets on stuff if it sits for a bunch of days.
and to answer patriot formula's question : yes it will be running in a class called super street ( which happens to be the class i run in - just my luck
) where you are allowed one power adder , no transbrake, no wheelie bar , and manufacturer engines- i.e. no world or dart blocks ( you can run a small block on a car that cam with a small block originally , but you can't run a big block)
the class puts the fastest 8 in an elimination tree, usually around 20 cars or more show up for qualifications the last rounds .

There going to be alots off car in the same class ,, but not all off them are done one is mine , and two ford mustangs with big turbos in them , and one trans am with tall dic LSX block with three stag off nitrous and some cars that i cant rememmber .
its going to be good race but not all the cars is going to be there at this race
