supercharger timing?

What timing do you guys run with your blowers? I'm running 7psi boost and I have mine set at 17. i think that may be a bit to low. I'm thinking about bumping it to about 20 or so.

I'm running 18° on mine at 18psi boost with the addition of methanol. Without methanol, I might try to run 15°. You might get away with 20° with that low boost level. I wouldn't try it unless you can log for knock just to be safe.

We generally end up with the timing above 5000 rpm at 18 degrees with 93 octane fuel. Bob
